Interno holds a deep belief that the people of a community have a right and responsibility to shape their own environment. They have the opportunity to impact the quality of life and character of their surroundings.
Public participation, a foundation of our society, provides for open exchange of ideas and the sharing of possible solutions. Many of the civic projects we have designed benefit from such participation in active workshops, which result in projects that reflect the communal heartbeat of the community.
Civic architecture, the very fabric of a community, include city halls, community centers, fire stations, libraries, operation service centers, parks and recreation facilities. We recognize the importance of our role in the design process as the consensus builder between the public and local governing bodies.
Civic design becomes an integral part of a community, telling the story of a time, a people, the history of a place and a glimpse into the future.
